Nicole grew up in Monmouth County, NJ. She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated Cum Laude in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Nursing Degree. While at Drexel she completed three externships: working in Education and Health Outreach for the 11th Street Family Health Center in Philadelphia, a nursing assistant in a Neurology/Neurosurgical step-down unit and epilepsy monitoring unit at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a nursing extern in endoscopy at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After graduation, she started working as an intensive care nurse in a Medical/Surgical/Neurological ICU at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. In 2013, she began working in the Intensive Care Unit at Riverview Medical Center and a year later transferred to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, working in the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In 2016, she took a leadership position, as an Assistant Nurse Manager in the newly opened Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit where she worked to cultivate a strong team who provided the best patient care and supported the families of the patients. In the same year, Nicole returned to Drexel University to pursue her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. In 2020, while working full-time, she completed her Master of Nursing Science degree and became board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2021, she joined The Neurology Center for Epilepsy and Seizures with a goal of providing each patient and family with the knowledge and resources to understand and manage their neurological condition and live their fullest lives. In her free time, Nicole loves to spend time with her family and volunteer in her community.
